Welcome to My "Grow Your Blog" Party!!! hosted by
Vicki.
I am Hueisei from Malaysia. My name pronounce as Hue See. I started to grow my interest on sewing in 3 years back when I am looking for a job. I started this blog to post about the projects I had make. I enjoy making bag, dress, skirt and home accessories. I start my interest to learn quilting about a year ago. I found lots of inspirations from the great blogs from the blog lands and YouTube. I met lots of friend from the blog lands too. My friends don't sew/quilt like me, so I feel so "alien" when I talk about my interest. They don't understand my passion for sewing or quilting. I love making handmade gifts for them :) I feel so proud when they praise me and loved it. Hahaha....
My favorite blog is
Ayumi's blog. I love her projects. I follow her tutorial and make this wristlet. :) She inspired me.

I am going to show you my project on quilting. This is my first quilt. It's for my sister.

I want to make quilts for my family, I want them to feel the love i have for them through the quilt. That is my goal for quilting.
Thank you for visiting today.
Well, I hope you all will visit my little blog again when have time :)
P/S: I will sent a little giveaway to one lucky commenter that leave a comment on this post only. Make sure there is a way for me to contact you - leave your email address if I can't access your email through your profile.
Random drawing on February 1st (Malaysia time).
I will be announcing the winner on February 2nd (Malaysia time) because of the time zone different.
Big Hugs from Me :)
What a great reason to quilt!
ReplyDeleteI love your quilt and I love Ayumi's blog also. Thanks for sharing!

ReplyDeleteI love quilting, too, and you quilt is absolutely lovely...a wonderful design. So nice to meet you through the Grow Your Blog party.
ReplyDeleteYou have a very lovely blog. I'm a new follower and a 'Grow Your Blog' participant. Have fun at the party!
ReplyDeleteEvalina, This and that...
The quilt you made for your sister is gorgeous, I love the colors you chose! Does each block have embroidering in the middle?
ReplyDeleteI'm also a knitter/sew-er/crafter among non-crafting friends (and come from a non-crafting family too!) Luckily my in-laws are all about handwork (quilting, sewing, embroidering, lace, etc) so I can share my passion with them at least - but the community we have online with each other is great too!
Lovely wristlet!!! and the quilt is just lovely :):) I quilt too!! Love fabric!!! Happy hopping!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful work and quilts Hueisei! Thanks for stopping by!
ReplyDeleteSo glad you stopped by my blog and said hello. I adore quilting as well but don't do it as much as you do. My daughter who lives in Japan quilts almost daily. Laughed out loud when you said you have a degree in Computer Science and married to an engineer. I work for Cisco Systems and manage 64 engineers. If you or your husband would like to apply for a position at Cisco, please forward your resume to me. Cisco is a global company and most of our employees work remotely. Blessings to you and those you love.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog. I would love to learn to sew, even at this stage of my life it would be exciting to learn a new craft. I've thought about quilting too, that one I'll have to think on.
