Say It With Flowers Blog Hop

Welcome to my day for this blog hop.
I am going to show you all the little girl dresses I sew based on the flower theme. I used the floral fabrics and made these little sweetheart dress. It's based on the pattern here.

Since I love to crochet. I am going to show you all too the dress I crocheted for my little niece. It's based on the Pineapple flower dress pattern from a Japanese crochet pattern book.

Welcome to my little blog for the blog hop. A BIG Thank You to Mary Winegar and Madame Samm for all their hard work and for doing such a good job!!

I'm going to make a mug rug using the fabric that got bird. This is my favorite fabric. It's a gift from a friend that visit Japan last year. I like the cute bird very much and I want to use it for a special gift or a special event. Tadahhhh..... I turned it into a mug rug for a special friend. My friend is left handed and I make the cup placement on the left for her. Here are the photos of the mug rug.

Shake Your Pom Poms Blog Hop

Welcome to my day for this fun blog hop. Big Thank you to Mdm Samm and Thearica for making this blog hop happens.
I had visited some of the blogs yesterday and I love all the cute and fun projects. HAHA...

To begin with my pom poms story, my mother taught me to make yarn pom poms when I was a little girl. I still remembered I rolled the yarns in my fingers and tied it up then cut it to make it looks more round. It was so easy to make :D

I don't have much ideas when I sign up for this blog hop. Then, I think the thing I am going to make will be different from others :D

I crocheted my own hair band. Yes, I am making my own hair accessories. You may find my previous posts here, here.. I think I am going to make a pom pom hair band and showcase here :D

Baby Quilt for my son :D

Finally, I had make one for my son... I love this pattern. It's from the free ebook that I downloaded from McCall's website. I adore the Match Game baby quilt. This is another version made by Deb from simplelifequilts.blogspot.com
I think I will make another one for my niece.

April WIPs....

I am back with my regular sewing and quilting projects. I have been MIA for the past few weeks. I have a good reason for this. I am busy with my job and family (My son is 19months and he seems getting very naughty and I need a full attention to look after him. *sigh* He even forbid me to touch my sewing machine *sob sob* ) I have sneak out some time when my son is sleeping and working on this :D

Ta dahh... A Scrappy Trip Around the World Quilt. I will sew it up to make a quilt top this weekend (If I have time LOL)

And this is my next project. A baby quilt for my son. I promise to make for him last year and I forgot it. I promise I will make for him this year. I finish cutting the fabrics and ready to chain them up :D

Finally, this is the zippered pouch I make for my swap partner. I hope she will like it.

This is my first time joining the blog hop and I hope I will participate more in the future.
I love this pattern very much when I saw it and I plan to make a pillow for myself. I took around one month to finish this beautiful stitchery pattern. (I have been busy lately with my job and business trip..Luckily, I manage to finish it before the blog hop.. Phew...) The pillow size is 19" square and i used the floral Japanese cotton fabric which I bought from our local craft shop..
