2012 Bloggers' Quilt Festival

Well, this time I want to join the festival. I love seeing so many quilts for the past events and I think this year I want to participate too. Thanks to Amy Ellis of Amy's Creative Side for organizing this. It is a great opportunity to see what is happening now in the quilt world. I'm going to show you the mini quilt I make last weekend. It measure at 17"x21". Can you guess the meaning of the quilt?? Haha..well..it's about TWO HEARTS. It's the quilt I make for the Play Mini Challenge at Jeanna's blog. We need to make a quilt based on a play card and i choose 2 Hearts. I get the idea from my last design for the purse. Last time, the little girl is holding two balloons. Fugly Fabric Party

Today is the day of the Fugly Fabric Party hosted by Lucy at Charm About You. I would love to join this round.
Here are a few of japanese cotton fabrics(sorry, we don't have designer fabrics here) pulled from my stash. I still have leftover for it. I think around half yard each or less.
If anyone is interested, please let me know. Well, just send me some scraps or FQ in return. I'm working on a string quilt and I wanted to add more fabrics scraps on it. :)

I follow the tutorial from Sew Lux Fabrics and Gifts to make this string block. Maybe you should check it out too since there will be a linky party each month to show off your block.
Each month we need to make 8 blocks, 2 for each weeks. I added one more row for the quilt on April.

Yay!!!! I finished the Bingo card for May for me. The game started last week and I have sewed 3 buttons :) No Bingo for me last week. Hope I have more luck in the following weeks.

Birdie Stitches #1

Today I finished sewing the blocks for the Birdie Stitches quilt.
A birthday project requested by my sister. Im using all the polka dots fabrics I have to make this for her. She loved the Birdie Stitches at LMS. I can't wait for the stitching tomorrow! I'm tired today. I think I need to rest now :)
